For a US company putting 50 people on Dynamics 365 Sales Professional at the October 2026 yearly list price, licenses alone are USD 39,000 in year one and USD 117,000 over three years if that list price stays put. Sales Enterprise is USD 63,000 a year, and Sales Premium is USD 90,000 a year. In Canada, the same 50 Professional users list at CAD 52,920 a year before tax. Microsoft does not sell the implementation on that page. A Microsoft partner's August 2026 planning band for Sales or Customer Service work, licenses excluded, runs from USD 25,000 to USD 110,000.

Those US totals are yearly list arithmetic from the Dynamics 365 Sales pricing page, and the Canada total is from the Canada Sales pricing page. The services band is Cambay Solutions' August 2026 indicative range, published apart from Microsoft's list. Keep the two lines apart until you have chosen a plan and a scope. This page builds both for a 50-user sales team in the US or Canada, then shows where a second quote grows.

What 50 Dynamics 365 Sales licenses cost

Microsoft's US Sales pricing page, as of October 2026, lists three yearly prices: Sales Professional at USD 65.00 per user per month, Sales Enterprise at USD 105.00, and Sales Premium at USD 150.00. The Canada (English) page lists the same plans at CAD 88.20, CAD 142.50, and CAD 203.50 per user per month, paid yearly, plus applicable tax. Microsoft Relationship Sales is variable and requires a 10-seat minimum, so it does not belong in a list-price worksheet until a reseller prices it.

The pages say the prices are informational and may differ at checkout because of currency, country, and regional variants. Use the table to size the budget, then match it to the checkout your reseller produces. A fuller walk-through of what each plan contains sits in Dynamics 365 Sales pricing explained.

United States, 50 full users

Assume all 50 people take the same plan, you pay yearly, and the October 2026 list does not change. These rows are licenses only.

  • Sales Professional (Per user / month: USD 65.00 · Year one: USD 39,000 · Three years: USD 117,000)
  • Sales Enterprise (Per user / month: USD 105.00 · Year one: USD 63,000 · Three years: USD 189,000)
  • Sales Premium (Per user / month: USD 150.00 · Year one: USD 90,000 · Three years: USD 270,000)

Year one is 50 × monthly list × 12. Three years is that annual figure three times. Dynamics 365 Sales pricing (United States), Microsoft, October 2026.

On Professional, year one of licenses (USD 39,000) is already above the bottom of the services band below, and three years of licenses (USD 117,000) sit above the top of that band. On Premium, three years of licenses are USD 270,000 before anyone configures a pipeline. Stepping from Professional to Enterprise adds USD 24,000 in year one (USD 63,000 minus USD 39,000) and USD 72,000 over three years. Stepping from Enterprise to Premium adds another USD 27,000 a year, which is USD 81,000 over three years. That step pays for the higher plan's included capability, including 1,000 Copilot Credits per user on Premium. Configuration and migration stay on the services invoice.

Canada, 50 full users, before tax

Same assumptions, Canada yearly list, tax not included.

  • Sales Professional (Per user / month: CAD 88.20 · Year one: CAD 52,920 · Three years: CAD 158,760)
  • Sales Enterprise (Per user / month: CAD 142.50 · Year one: CAD 85,500 · Three years: CAD 256,500)
  • Sales Premium (Per user / month: CAD 203.50 · Year one: CAD 122,100 · Three years: CAD 366,300)

Dynamics 365 Sales pricing (Canada, English), Microsoft, October 2026.

Have finance apply the provincial tax on top. The pricing page says plus applicable tax and leaves the rate to the province. A Canadian Professional deployment at this list is CAD 52,920 of licenses in year one. A services quote priced in US dollars still has to be converted at your rate. Keep each currency on its own line.

Why the services number is a range

"Is Dynamics 365 licensing cost separate from implementation cost?" Yes. The license is the Microsoft subscription. Implementation is the work to make it match how your team sells, and it is priced by the firm that does the work. "Does the cost estimate include Microsoft licensing?" Only if the proposal says so. Ask both questions in those words and require a yes or no on the cover page.

Cambay Solutions, writing on 4 August 2026, says a Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service implementation typically ranges from USD 25,000 to USD 110,000 depending on user count, customization, and integrations, and that the band excludes licensing. The same page places a 25 to 150 user project on one or two apps at USD 60,000 to USD 150,000 for services. Both figures are labeled indicative. A 50-user sales team sits inside the second band's user count, and inside the first band's product scope if you stay on Sales only. Cambay says the USD 25,000 to USD 110,000 band moves with user count, customization, and integrations. The USD 60,000 to USD 150,000 band is that firm's range for 25 to 150 users on one or two apps. Ask for a sales-only price and a separate price for each added app.

Dynamics Square, in a September 2026 breakdown, repeats the same US list prices (USD 65, USD 105, and USD 150) and says it will not publish a CRM-only services range because scope varies too much. Its broader mid-market band of USD 75,000 to USD 200,000 mixes Business Central and a single CRM app. Leave that band off a sales-only budget. The firm is willing to print a mixed ERP-and-CRM range and unwilling to print one number for CRM alone, which is a signal to price your scope rather than borrow a midpoint.

On the August 2026 Sales or Customer Service band, the top is USD 85,000 above the bottom. On the 25 to 150 user, one-or-two-app band, the top is USD 90,000 above the bottom. That spread is what you are budgeting for when the scope is still a sentence.

Where a services fee tends to go

The same August 2026 guide publishes its own planning split. It is that firm's split, and Microsoft does not issue it as a standard. Consulting and design are 10 to 20 percent, configuration and customization 25 to 40 percent, data migration 10 to 20 percent, a handful of integrations 10 to 15 percent, and training 5 to 10 percent. Post-go-live support is a separate retainer, outside this split.

Applied to the two ends of the USD 25,000 to USD 110,000 Sales or Customer Service band:

  • Consulting and design, 10 to 20 percent (At USD 25,000: USD 2,500 to USD 5,000 · At USD 110,000: USD 11,000 to USD 22,000)
  • Configuration and customization, 25 to 40 percent (At USD 25,000: USD 6,250 to USD 10,000 · At USD 110,000: USD 27,500 to USD 44,000)
  • Data migration, 10 to 20 percent (At USD 25,000: USD 2,500 to USD 5,000 · At USD 110,000: USD 11,000 to USD 22,000)
  • A handful of integrations, 10 to 15 percent (At USD 25,000: USD 2,500 to USD 3,750 · At USD 110,000: USD 11,000 to USD 16,500)
  • Training, 5 to 10 percent (At USD 25,000: USD 1,250 to USD 2,500 · At USD 110,000: USD 5,500 to USD 11,000)

The low ends of those shares add up to 60 percent. The high ends add up to 105 percent. A real project picks one point inside each range, so you cannot add every high end and call it the fee. Configuration is the largest slice at both ends. Migration across its full 10 to 20 percent range, on a USD 110,000 fee, is USD 11,000 to USD 22,000. That is the line that moves when the customer file is dirtier than the sales meeting suggested. Dynamics 365 Implementation Cost Guide (2026), August 2026.

Microsoft's implementation guide names stages and publishes no prices. Success by Design uses five stages: Strategize, Initiate, Implement, Prepare, and Operate. It comes from FastTrack as guidance. Free product training sits on Microsoft Learn, which can shrink the classroom portion of the training slice and does not remove the partner's configuration work. Dynamics 365 implementation guide overview, Microsoft Learn, October 2026.

Dynamics Square says eligible customers can get FastTrack engineering guidance, blueprint reviews, and go-live readiness reviews at no additional Microsoft program cost, while partner implementation stays separately scoped and priced. Ask whether your tenant qualifies. Either way, keep the partner's hours in the budget. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Implementation Cost, September 2026.

What Odoo lists for 50 users

On the yearly toggle in October 2026, the Odoo pricing page listed these plans in euros. Keep the budget in euros until Odoo or the reseller states a US dollar or Canadian dollar price on the order.

Standard lists at EUR 24.90 per user per month, discounted from EUR 31.10. Custom lists at EUR 44.90, discounted from EUR 56.90. The discount applies for 12 months to the initial users ordered. A light user is EUR 7.90, arranged with an Odoo advisor. One App Free is EUR 0 for one app and unlimited users on Odoo Online, which is a different product decision than a 50-person team running the full sales stack.

  • Standard (Discounted year, 50 users: EUR 14,940 · Later year if the discount is not renewed: EUR 18,660)
  • Custom (Discounted year, 50 users: EUR 26,940 · Later year if the discount is not renewed: EUR 34,140)

The first column is 50 × the discounted monthly price × 12. The second is 50 × the struck monthly price × 12. Licenses only, and Custom still excludes Odoo.sh hosting. Odoo Pricing, Odoo, October 2026.

If the 12-month discount is not renewed, three years of Standard licenses are EUR 14,940 + EUR 18,660 + EUR 18,660, which is EUR 52,260. Three years of Custom licenses are EUR 26,940 + EUR 34,140 + EUR 34,140, which is EUR 95,220. Those totals are list arithmetic. They assume the struck price is what year two and year three bill, and that the user count stays at 50.

Standard and Custom include all apps, hosting on Odoo Online, maintenance, version upgrades, and weekday email support. Under the heading "What's not included in these plans", Odoo excludes implementation and Odoo expert services, Odoo.sh hosting, in-app-purchase credits (SMS, contact autocomplete, lead generation, and bill and expense scanning), and maintenance of custom code. Custom adds Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting options, Studio, agentic AI, multi-company, and the external API. The hosting price for Odoo.sh does not include the enterprise license, and it is quoted from a calculator with annual, monthly, USD, and EUR toggles. Put that host line on the proposal as its own number. Odoo.sh pricing, Odoo, October 2026.

Success Packs stop being a menu at this headcount

Odoo says companies under 50 employees usually buy implementation from Odoo through Success Packs, companies over 50 employees usually use a partner, and companies over 250 employees should contact Odoo. A 50-user team sits on that boundary. The pack estimator also says that above 50 users the buyer should contact Odoo. Use the packs as a published hour menu. The largest new-customer pack is 200 hours, and a 50-user CRM can need a proposal beyond that menu.

New-customer first-pack prices, with the 15 percent discount on the first pack only:

  • Starter (Hours: 4 · New-customer price: EUR 499 · Returning-customer price: EUR 587.06)
  • Basic (Hours: 25 · New-customer price: EUR 2,635 · Returning-customer price: EUR 3,100)
  • Standard (Hours: 50 · New-customer price: EUR 4,675 · Returning-customer price: EUR 5,500)
  • Custom (Hours: 100 · New-customer price: EUR 8,415 · Returning-customer price: EUR 9,900)
  • Pro (Hours: 200 · New-customer price: EUR 16,830 · Returning-customer price: EUR 19,800)

Onsite travel time and expenses are extra. Extra monthly charges apply for maintenance of extra modules or lines of code. Odoo Success Packs, Odoo, October 2026.

Set the Pro pack next to the license line so the scale is obvious. EUR 16,830 buys 200 hours once. It is about 1.1 times the first-year Standard license bill for 50 users (EUR 14,940), and about 0.6 times the first-year Custom license bill (EUR 26,940). Fifty hours, the Standard pack, is a short configuration. A migration of several years of accounts plus two integrations needs a larger pack or a custom proposal. If your scope needs more than 200 hours, the published menu has ended and the price is a custom proposal. The same boundary is why an Odoo implementation cost for a US company has to separate subscription from services the same way.

A portal user is not a paying user. Customers and suppliers on the portal, or website visitors placing orders, do not take a paid seat. A paying user is someone with backend create, view, or edit access, or an employee record in the HR app with no linked user. Assume 20 of your 50 people only check an order or an invoice on the portal. The paid count is 30, and 30 Standard users in the discount year are EUR 8,964 (30 × 24.90 × 12), against EUR 14,940 if you license all 50. Count backend access before you multiply.

Year one and year three on one worksheet

Assume a US company, 50 full Sales users on one plan, yearly billing, and an unchanged October 2026 list for three years. Assume services are paid once in year one and fall somewhere in the USD 25,000 to USD 110,000 Sales or Customer Service band. Leave out, on purpose, the annual support retainer, extra Power Platform licenses, Dataverse add-on storage, Canadian tax, and any Copilot credit overage. Those blanks are part of the worksheet. Filling them with a round number would hide the decision.

  • Professional (Year-one licenses: USD 39,000 · Year-one licenses plus services: USD 64,000 to USD 149,000 · Three-year licenses: USD 117,000 · Three-year licenses plus year-one services: USD 142,000 to USD 227,000)
  • Enterprise (Year-one licenses: USD 63,000 · Year-one licenses plus services: USD 88,000 to USD 173,000 · Three-year licenses: USD 189,000 · Three-year licenses plus year-one services: USD 214,000 to USD 299,000)
  • Premium (Year-one licenses: USD 90,000 · Year-one licenses plus services: USD 115,000 to USD 200,000 · Three-year licenses: USD 270,000 · Three-year licenses plus year-one services: USD 295,000 to USD 380,000)

Each plus-services cell adds USD 25,000 at the low end and USD 110,000 at the high end. Nothing else is inside the cell.

Read it this way. On Professional, year-one cash can be USD 64,000 or USD 149,000 with the same 50 licenses, and the entire USD 85,000 gap is services. Over three years, Professional licenses (USD 117,000) are USD 7,000 above the top of the services band, so at that top the two lines are close. Add the support retainer before you tell the board the subscription is the larger cost. On Enterprise, three-year licenses plus the high services band reach USD 299,000 before support. On Premium they reach USD 380,000. The support retainer is still a blank on the sheet. Ask for it as a monthly cap, and add three years of that cap to the Enterprise and Premium totals.

For Odoo, keep a second sheet in euros. Fifty Standard users are EUR 14,940 in the discount year and EUR 52,260 over three years if the later years bill at EUR 31.10. Fifty Custom users are EUR 26,940 and then EUR 95,220 on the same assumption. Add a Success Pack only if you are buying hours from that menu, and add Odoo.sh, in-app credits, travel, and custom-code maintenance as their own lines. A first-year Standard subscription plus a Pro pack is EUR 14,940 + EUR 16,830 = EUR 31,770, before hosting upgrades and before any hours past 200.

The decision the worksheet forces: can the budget you are taking to the board cover licenses for three years and a services fee at the top of the band that matches your scope, plus a support line you have seen in writing? A year-one Professional total of USD 64,000 only exists at the floor of that band. Quoting the floor to the board, then signing a scope that includes history, two integrations, and Enterprise features, is how the project comes back for more money.

Costs that show up after the first quote

The first proposal often prices licenses and a block of configuration. The second one prices the work the footnotes and the exclusion lists already named. Put these items on the request for proposal so the first number includes them.

Power Automate flows and Power Apps use need additional licenses. Teams conversation-intelligence features need additional licenses too. If the sales process you liked in the demo sends quotes for approval, creates an invoice in another system, or files call notes from Teams, ask which of those steps run inside the Sales license and which need another SKU. A flow that feels small can add a license for every person who triggers it.

Sales Premium includes 1,000 Copilot Credits per user. Extra credits are pay-as-you-go or prepaid Copilot Credit Commit Units. Microsoft says a prepaid commit can save up to 20 percent versus pay-as-you-go rates. Have the credit unit price written on the order before you plan usage past the included 1,000 credits per user. Running Dynamics 365 agents requires an Azure subscription. If the business case for Premium is the assistant, price the credits and Azure next to the USD 90,000 license line. If you will not use the credits, Premium is an expensive way to buy a pipeline.

Customer engagement apps, including Dynamics 365 Sales, include a tenant default Dataverse entitlement plus more capacity per full user license. Extra storage sells in 1 GB increments. The default environment includes 3 GB of database, 3 GB of file, and 1 GB of log, separate from the subscription entitlement. The per-user gigabytes live in the Power Platform licensing guide, so have the bidder show database, file, and log entitlement for your 50 users on the proposal. If use exceeds entitled capacity after cross-capacity borrowing, Microsoft can block environment create, copy, restore, recover, trial conversion, and adding a Dataverse database. Each of those needs at least 1 GB free in the required capacity type. Licensing terms say use of the online service can be suspended after notice if consumption stays over the documented entitlements. A migration that loads email attachments and years of notes is a storage project as well as a data project. Dataverse capacity-based storage, Microsoft Learn, October 2026. Storage overview, Microsoft Learn, October 2026.

On the Odoo side, the exclusions are printed. Implementation and Odoo.sh hosting are both billed outside the subscription, and SMS, contact autocomplete, lead generation, and document scanning draw in-app credits. Custom code carries a maintenance charge. A team that starts on Standard to keep the EUR 14,940 license bill, then needs Studio, multi-company, or the external API, has moved to Custom. That is a step from EUR 24.90 to EUR 44.90 per user in the discount year, or EUR 12,000 more for 50 users in year one (EUR 26,940 minus EUR 14,940), and a larger step once the discount year ends.

Canadian subscriptions add tax on the license line. US and Canadian services invoices may be in a different currency from the licenses. Neither belongs inside the other.

Scope is the other way the number moves. A sales-only configuration sits toward the USD 25,000 to USD 110,000 discussion. A 25 to 150 user project that takes on a second app is the USD 60,000 to USD 150,000 discussion. Adding customer service, or sitting Sales on top of an ERP, is a different project from cleaning up a pipeline. Ask for two prices in the first proposal: Sales alone, and Sales plus each extra app or integration. You can still buy the larger scope. You will see the delta before you are mid-build.

Which plan matches the way your team sells

For a single sales team whose day is pipeline, activities, and quotes, start the budget on Sales Professional. The October 2026 comparison marks several advanced capabilities as Limited on the lower plan and Included on Enterprise and Premium. The footnotes place forecasting, territory management, and Sales Insights-style features with the higher plans. Move the budget to Enterprise when those are how the sales manager runs the week: territories, a forecast the manager will stake a number on, and the insight features the page reserves for the higher plans. Move to Premium when the 1,000 Copilot Credits per user are part of how reps will work, and when you have a number for credits beyond that allotment.

The Sales pricing page does not state a cap on custom tables, plugins, or workflows. If a bidder says Professional cannot hold the customization you want, ask them to show that limit in the licensing guide against your actual objects before the higher plan goes into the budget for that reason.

Not every employee in a 50-person company needs a full Sales seat. People who own opportunities do. People who only look up a phone number or approve a discount may not. Odoo makes the free case explicit: portal users are not paying users. On Dynamics 365, price every full user from the Sales list above, and have any lighter seat priced at checkout before it enters the spreadsheet. Leaving 15 people unlicensed, or licensing them on a guess, moves the Professional line by USD 11,700 a year in either direction (15 × 65 × 12). That is USD 35,100 over three years, which is more than the floor of the Sales services band.

Light Odoo users at EUR 7.90 are a third category, quoted with an advisor. Use them only after someone confirms what a light user is allowed to do in your sales process. A rep who creates quotations is a paying user.

Relationship Sales stays off this comparison until you have a price. The minimum is 10 seats, which a 50-person team can meet, and the price is variable, so there is no list figure to multiply.

How to buy the work so the price holds

"How much does a Dynamics 365 CRM implementation cost?" The accurate answer is a pair: the license table for the plan you will live on, and a services fee tied to a written scope. "Where can I get implementation services, and how much does it cost?" A 50-person company sits on the boundary Odoo publishes: under 50 employees, Success Packs are the usual path; over 50 employees, a partner is the usual path; and the pack estimator says above 50 users to contact Odoo. For Dynamics 365, you are in a custom proposal immediately, because Microsoft does not sell Sales implementation hours on the pricing page.

We implement both Dynamics 365 Sales and Odoo CRM for companies in this size range. The work we scope is discovery, configuration, data migration, training, and a support period after go-live, delivered in phases so the first phase can be priced on its own. The description of that engagement is on CRM implementation for a 50-person sales team, and the Sales-specific scope is on Dynamics 365 Sales implementation.

Ask every bidder for the same sheet.

  1. A named list of who is on a full license, who is on a lighter seat, and who stays on the portal. Multiply licenses from that list. Headcount overstates the bill when some people only use the portal.
  2. Phase one scope in workflows: lead to opportunity, quote, and the account fields you report on. Later phases get their own prices.
  3. Data migration as its own line: which objects, how many years, who cleanses the file, and which record counts mean the load is finished.
  4. Each integration named, with direction and frequency. A handful of integrations is the 10 to 15 percent slice. Any integration the proposal has not named with direction and frequency is a change order.
  5. Training hours separate from Microsoft Learn or Odoo's own materials, plus a support retainer with a monthly cap and a response time.
  6. Named consultants, the hours each role will spend, and who owns the configuration and any custom code when the project ends. Extra Odoo modules and lines of code carry a maintenance charge. Know the owner before you accept the code.
  7. A storage and credit note: Dataverse capacity for the Dynamics tenant, or Odoo.sh plus in-app credits, priced for the first year of real use.
  8. Currency, tax, and the date the license list was taken. A single blended total mixes the license line and the services line this worksheet keeps apart.

A phased rollout keeps the first number close to the build. Phase one can be the pipeline, quotes, and a clean account import for the people who sell. Phase two can be the accounting integration, the marketing tool, and the historical opportunities nobody has opened in two years. You pay for phase two when phase one is in use, and the phase-two price stays written on the proposal.

The tests that decide between firms are the names on the project, the hours behind each line, references from a sales team of similar size, a phase plan you can read, and clear ownership of any code. A partner badge does not answer whether your migration is in the fee.

Bring the worksheet to the call: 50 users or fewer once you have counted real seats, the plan you think you need, and the systems that have to exchange data. We will mark which lines are list price, which lines are still a range, and what has to be true for a fixed first phase.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Dynamics 365 implementation take?

Microsoft's Success by Design guide names five stages, Strategize, Initiate, Implement, Prepare, and Operate, and it publishes no week count for a 50-user Sales project. A pipeline, quotes, and a clean account import take fewer hours than a project that adds custom tables and several integrations. Ask each bidder for hours by phase and compare those hours.

Can implementation cost be reduced with a phased rollout?

Yes. Price phase one as the workflows the team will use first, such as lead to opportunity, quotes, and the account fields you report on, and price later integrations on their own. In one published planning split, a handful of integrations is 10 to 15 percent of the services fee, so each added system moves the number. You pay for the later phase when the first phase is in use.

How can I purchase Copilot Credits?

Sales Premium includes 1,000 Copilot Credits per user on the October 2026 US and Canada yearly lists. Extra credits are pay-as-you-go or prepaid Copilot Credit Commit Units, and a prepaid commit can save up to 20 percent versus pay-as-you-go rates. Have the unit price written on the order before you plan usage past the included credits. Running Dynamics 365 agents also requires an Azure subscription.

What is the difference between the standard plan and the custom plan?

Odoo Standard and Custom both include all apps, hosting on Odoo Online, maintenance, version upgrades, and weekday email support. Custom adds Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting options, Studio, agentic AI, multi-company, and the external API. On the October 2026 yearly list the discount year is EUR 24.90 per user per month for Standard and EUR 44.90 for Custom. Implementation and Odoo.sh hosting are extra on both.

How do you define a paying user?

In Odoo, a paying user is someone with backend create, view, or edit access, or an employee record in the HR app with no linked user. Customers and suppliers on the portal, and website visitors placing orders, are not paying users. A 50-person company can therefore license fewer than 50 seats when many people only use the portal.

What is included in a typical Dynamics 365 implementation?

One partner's planning split puts consulting and design at 10 to 20 percent of services, configuration and customization at 25 to 40 percent, data migration at 10 to 20 percent, a handful of integrations at 10 to 15 percent, and training at 5 to 10 percent. Support after go-live is a separate retainer. Microsoft's guide adds the five stage names, and free product training on Microsoft Learn does not replace the partner's configuration hours.
